how do sites like Absolute, which have a MUCH higher percentage of whores, survive? I don't suppose there are many players on Absolute who are not playing on a bonus. On Party skins, I would say at least 75% of the players play without a bonus (just a wild guess, of course). I would think Empire would be glad to have whores to help fill up the games, even if it does cost them a little money.

Is this just some bean counter's idea of a way to maximize profits? I just got a call from an Absolute rep offering me the moon to redeposit. Whores can't be costing these sites that much, or many sites would have gone bust a long time ago.

Truthfully, though, I think Empire is correct in trying to eradicate whores. I just cleared the latest bonus in a day and a half. I really don't contribute anything to their long-term player base if I don't continue to play. Their aggressive advertising can ensure a fresh supply of suckers who will be attracted by the bonus, then chase their losses without a bonus. And, as a player, these are the kind of customers I want to play against.

So this crusade against whores has a silver lining. I'm going to keep my Empire account open for live play, as it has the most fish of any site. I'll take the bonuses when they come, but I won't abuse the system. I truthfully think I'll make more this way than playing at Absolute against a bunch of rocks, even with the added 20%.
