the only time i find i start losing while whoring is when i didnt account for enough time to clear a bonus so i drop down to the 200nl tables and 4 table to knock them out quickly. Then i find i start thinking there's no way i can lose to these players because they're just terrible but i outthink myself and dont play my best game, or i dont adjust to the weaknesses of the tables because i'm not paying close enough attention, i dont have good enough notes on enough players, i dont know what they're trying to accomplish with the moves they make my reads are off my bets are either too strong or too weak i dont know how to maximize my money and i lose a ton of value. Thats why i try to make sure that the bonuses i'm clearing are gonna get cleared naturally instead of me going out of my way to have to do it and in the end costing myself more bb/hr than im gaining with the additional bonus money.
