It's a shame they have to tighten things up, but it is most likely the result of abuse by a few people that are making them realize they need to do something. Rather than just say "screw this, we're going to make this bonus really hard for all of our customers, good and bad, to ferret out those few abusers", they chose the much better "Hey listen, Mr. Abuser, we're not happy with your current pattern of bonus depositing. Could you rethink what you are doing, or else we'll have to cut you off? Thanks!"
How exactly is this "unprofessional"? Target the problem users, explain the problem and provide an opportunity to fix the issue so everybody can be happy. That is the very definition of handling a problem properly. |
