To the OP, yes it is possible to just autopost/autofold and make money with the bonuses.

But I play poker because I enjoy the game, probably the same as most people here. Even if there were no such thing as bonuses, I'd probably still play poker. If I didn't enjoy playing poker then I would never even think of bonuswhoring poker rooms.

Since bonuses do exist and I enjoy playing poker, as long as the poker rooms are giving money away I'm going to find out what strategies there are to maximize my reward over and above my winnings. That's what bonuswhoring means to me- a way of maximizing the reward I get from something I'd do anyways.
