i think he answered this somewhere else.
basically we play many sites and know what we as players like best, we know what kind of offers and site features would attract people.

he attracts us, which will in turn attract others.

i actually think it is smart thinking on his end to get the site started, i'd say his posts here will start getting more attention than the site would have gotten otherwise.

then again i know nothing about running a poker site or how much money is made/lost in bonus offerings. my guess would be any activity is good for them since they're giving the same bonus to both "bonus whores" and "non-bonus whores" anyway..??? i don't see how it would matter what type of player signs up as long as they're playing.

i mean heck my boyfriend reads some football forum where theres often mention of good poker sites / bonuses. i doubt everyone there is "bonus whores" or excellent poker players or anything. word of mouth does wonders.
