Golden RIviera used to have a promo where you could "select your own multiplier".
That is they would give you a $20 for 100 contributed raked hands every week. Unfortunately (for them) when you played 100 hands ALL bonuses would release, so if you deposited two weeks in a row but didn't play, it now became $40 for 100 contributed raked hands
I ran it up to $200 for 100 contributed raked hands which is 0.5 * $200. And being a true whore I played this on the 0.5-1 stud table (as stud has an ante, you contribute to ALL hands).
As about 2 in 3 hands were raked, it effectively was something like 0.75 * $200 dealt hands, even if you folded all hands. And as you pay $0.05 ante / hand, plus an average of $0.03 bring-in /hand, this was about $190 guaranteed profit (I made more, because I can play stud, unlike the other people at that limit).
Now THAT was a bonus.
And it was never "contributed". It was always dealt raked hands for a min of .25 rake (the standard Prima count). |
