Doesn't seem quite reasonable to expect BW to put up a fight in this instance to protect some players. This August bonus was never official. It wasn't posted by BW on the Bonuses pages. Early in August a player reported that he was getting the bonus for August and then some other players followed suit. It looks like they did have the bonus until about Aug 10. Unfortunately, some players who emailed beforehand got the wrong answer from CS and relied on this to their detriment. Those particular players were not treated as they should have by Crazy Poker. And shame on Crazy. Perhaps there was also a player who had already read varying reports here of the bonus being granted to some and not to others who decided to give it a try anyway and then protested loudly with Crazy when the bonus wasn't forthcoming for him. Who knows? But what can BW do about that? How do they have proof of these mistakes? You can't expect these players to forward their pertinent email correspondence onto BW and expect them to sift through this, make sure the dates jive, etc, and then take up the matter with Crazy. It seems to me that as far as BW was concerned there never was a August bonus.

If there is a clear-cut case of a bonus being announced (to BW) and this bonus not being honored by a site, then i sure hope BW will put up some fight and make a negative comment on that site's review. But this was an iffy situation to begin with.
