Anyone else get negative feedback from support when doing this? I signed up and deposited at one of the 5x sites, and received an unsolicited message from support wanting to know why I failed to enter the code. Later they said they were able to fix it for me. We didn't discuss the referral bonus.
I for one would like to say:
Please don't kill the TAF thingeee.
It works, but if you get an email from support, please please please don't push our collective luck. Take one for the team, and ditch the bonus and slink away. There are a TON of 5x bonuses right now.
Sure you can haggle with support and get your bonus and the taf...but it's going to make it harder for the next guy....and could eventually kill the sweet deal.
Am I out of line on this opinion?

While I suppose part of the whore mentality is squeezing every last possible cent out of a poker room's purse, I have yet to combine a RAF/TAF bonus with a signup or reload offer at any room for the simple reason that I don't have any friends Seriously, unless the "real" bonus on its own is very modest, it just isn't worth it for me to tack on a much smaller incentive that is usually intended to be used on its own. Referrals, I believe, are meant primarily for new players while deposit bonuses target the more experienced higher volume types. Taking advantage of both screams of blatant and desparate opportunism, which a poker room is likely to be more wary of than even regular bonus chasing.
Greedy whores can only draw so much water so often from the same well before it eventually starts to run dry. It's fine if one can get both RAF/TAF and deposit bonuses with no problem, but there's no need to go out of one's way for a few more euros if it means endangering the bigger prize. In B2B's case, I'd argue that the various signup and reload bonuses (concurrent/stackable or not) coupled with VIP cashback should be enough for any self-respecting whore. There's a big difference between being a high-class mistress living it up in a penthouse, or even a hard-working prostitute toiling in a brothel, and a low-rent streetwalker working in a back alley...
