What's the scoop on this? Last I heard, Party bought Empire, so why are they not just shutting Empire down (or letting it wither on the vine) like they did with PokerNow/Intertops instead of "re-merging" it with the main Party Poker room (if in fact that's what they're doing)?

PokerNow is still on the old network together with Empire and Multipoker (which Party also bought some months ago).
