$1/2 NL at the local casino. I had been running pretty well, sitting on a stack around $580.
Villian #1 is in SB with $400, generally loose, kind of passive, but will bet when he has a decent hand.
Villian #2 is in BB, with $80, pretty new to the table, but seems to be loose aggressive type
Villian #3 is UTG with about $250.
UTG limps in, I limped in UTG+1, SB call and BB bump it to $12. UTG called, I called, and so did SB.
Flop comes J75, 2 clubs. SB bets $50, BB push for $68, UTG thought for a while and folded. Pot is now at $166, what would you do?
Wasn't worried about Villian #2, since he is allin and I probably had him beat (put him on overpair, flush draw, or even AJ. Villian #1's bet is a bit curious. He is generally not aggressive, so he must have a pretty good hand. Likely hand would be 2 pairs, and set of 5. Set of J is possible, but given he limped in SB with it, I thought it is less likely. He is a loose caller, so he might call with 2 pairs, set of 5 for sure.
I shoved, and of course he had JJ. Villian #2 had Nut flush draw and got there on the river. I don't know if I could have played this differently and not put it allin on the turn, because Villian #1 would have bet the turn, and have less than pot size by the river. Any thoughts? |
