This is something that needs to be expanded on. This isn't the first time a group of what are called micro skins got screwed by the parent skin. The first example in online poker I can think of is Dobrosoft. When America's Card Room decided it was leaving Dobro it left 50+ of its micro skins behind. ACR banked and supported these sites, all they had to do was market. All of the players got paid eventually but it was a mess.

Let's move on to Futurebet. Ongame licensed FB to sign up subs. These subs were sites like Bayou Poker, Pure Poker, Carnaval Poker and Alamo Poker. Futurebet banked these sites as well. When they decided to run off with the money they made the skin owners look bad when in fact it was the rogue operator.

Now comes Tusk. Sites like Battlefield and Red Nines were micro skins under Poker Metro which I guess ended up merging into Tusk in one way or another. These micros didn't bank or support their site. A few were just rakeback skins in violation of MG's policies. All of these skins were at the mercy of Tusk as we found out later. The only thing I put on the skin owners was not seeing thw writing on the walls when eCogra removed endorsement of their licensor but by then it was way too late anyway.

After these lessons it is time to start making sure a site you're putting money in is directly licensed by the network. It seems playing on micro skins is not a safe option for players.
