I also wish to add a good luck message to all of you budding CM's out there not to give up.
All of the CM's at my site are oluntary, most do it for fun, whereas others have used it to gain experience of CM-ing before applying for paid work. Voluntary CM's, or VCMs as we call them, are excellent at FreeBingo simply because they are doing it for the fun of it. We only recruit from our roster of players btw, in case you were going to apply!
However, in the 5 months we have had VCMs at FreeBingo we have had 2 become CMs at Mecca Bingo, 1 at Gala Bingo, 1 at Ruby Bingo, 1 at Bingo Scotland and 1 at Think Bingo. So it shows getting that bit of experience can make a big difference. Of course these are all UK sites so I'm unsure of how competitive the US CM job market is, but there are loads more sites so I would have thought there would be more jobs.
In terms of applying for acancies, most of these got their positions quite easily from posting on the forum at www.cmoftheyear.com so if you haven't already tried there, give it a shot.
