Gala Coral pushes disabled accessGaming company Gala Coral Group is rolling out a marketing campaign aimed at helping disabled people find and access Gala Bingo Clubs.

The campaign has been developed in conjunction with Direct Enquiries, the nationwide access register, which has been set up for companies to showcase their disabled access and facilities.

The push will run from 1 September and include posters displaying access symbols relevant to the specific enue as well as generic posters advising customers of the existence of the access information. It will also include leaflets distributed in all Gala Bingo Clubs further detailing access information.

Gala Coral Group health and safety manager Darren Cook said: “We wanted to go one step further and provide point of sale leaflets and posters to help those who either don’t have internet access, or just happen to go into a Gala Bingo without first investigating our facilities.

“Providing good access is an essential part of Gala’s ethos, and we are continually making changes and reviewing the facilities at all of our Bingo Clubs to keep one step ahead of our customers’ expectations.”

Gala Coral Group recently handed MediaVest Manchester the remainder of its media planning and buying accounts that the agency did not already hold.

The move sees the agency take on an extra £5 million worth of business as Gala Coral centralises its media planning and buying duties.
