They may be cheating, but many people who play Blackjack aren't aware of the game's most common hand: it's a 20! Tens make up 4/13 of all the cards, so it works out that nearly one hand in ten is a 20. Throw in the Aces and now over 14% of the dealer's hands will be 20 or 21 in the first two cards. People also forget that Blackjack is a game of skill and they're surprised when they lose, but if you watch them play, they'll stand on a 16 against an 8, never hit 12 against a 2 or think the idea of hitting A-7 against a 9 is crazy. Yet, they should. So, the casino becomes the reason they lost, not their lack of skill or just plain old "variance". (We "experts" don't believe in luck; we call it ariance, but it's luck.)
