That was a pretty impressive posting there, though I'm not sure I agree with it, at least not entirely. To begin with, I know of only two software providers that charge as high a revenue sharing with the casinos as what you are mentioning. Boss Media charges licensees 30% to 35%, and Grand Virtual charges 25% to 40%. I do not recall what the current rates for starnet or Microgaming are, but the majority of providers charge in the range of 15% to 20% revenue sharing.

As far as deliberately rigging software to cheat the player, I'm not so sure that is true on the scale that you mentioned, but I do not claim to know for sure. Unless I am misunderstanding your point, you are saying that only a handful of providers are honest, and that the majority are crooks. It has been my experience that the opposite is true; that the majority are honest, and only a handful are crooks. My biggest complaint would have to be Starnet. Though I have no particular complaints about any of their licensees, their company itself appears to be as crooked as they come, and I have alot of doubts about receiving honest odds at any site running their software. I think that for the most part, you will find that the truly illegal sites are constructed privately and have no turnkey affiliations. From what I have read, these sites are specificly set up for money laundering, and really do not care one way or another if they get any players (though I'm sure they would go ahead and keep the money if they did). There reason for being is to convert illegal funds into legally gained currency, and they are only pretending to be actual casinos, so I don't think that they really apply to the group that you are talking about.

At any rate, if you have any knowledge of specific software providers that are deliberately writing software to cheat players, I'm sure that everyone here would love to hear who it is and why you believe that are being dishonest.

There are only a handfull of reputable casino software developers (turnkey providers). The ast majority of them can not be trusted to give YOU an HONEST game. This means the software has been delibrately programmed to cheat you. Most online casinos promise Vegas or AC odds, and then maliciously go back on thier word. They tune the odds on table games by manipulating the outcome of the cards and dice. The games are rigged to give the house a much larger than normal advantage. Since you have no way to prove this is happening, the casino is able to STEAL your money ery quickly. At the end of the month 30% to 50% of the casino's gross income goes right back into the pocket of the turnkey provider. The casino then takes approximately one half of its net income (the rest of the money it stole from you), and puts it into advertising and referral programs. More new players are sucked in, get ripped off, and the casino rakes in even bigger profits. It then takes half of these NET profits and puts it to advertising. ITS A VICIOUS CYCLE THAT NEVER ENDS.

A turnkey provider has every incentive to rig the games. If its able to license another 20 casinos that run its software, and
each casino constantly advertises, the profits will be exponential. I repeat - the turnkey provider makes 30% to 50% of EACH of the 20 casinos net profit.

This is why the industry is poised for such amazing growth over the next few years. The more casinos advertise, the more suckers are drawn in. Some of these players end up becoming highly addicted. Even though these players know they are being cheated, they simply do not have the will power to stop. Other players stop using one turnkey provider, only to try another. But the problem is most competing turnkey providers don't run honest games either.

Its an industry built on fraud and deception, and reminds me of the cheating that went on in Las Vegas in the years before regulation.
