Topic: Gambling.com still advertising GP Forum: Winner Online

Prosper I think your protest-mailing is a great idea, and if everyone did it I would imagine it could be devastating. Mebbe we're not yet at a level of consumer-consciousness and unity in this industry where that could be achieved, but it could be a powerful weapon.

On the gambling.com GP advertising, Vicki has a point - look at all the players who know about GP and its methods but despite that are STILL showing interest in their promos. Until players act together they will always get a few betting anyway, and of course GP are undoubtedly attracting the unknowing and the inexperienced.

It's the prejudice to the latter that I find objectionable. Gambling.com's Gambling Grumbles has been sufficiently filled with GP complaints for them to know damn well that GP is a suspect operation to which they should not be referring players of any description until the name has been cleared.

In an ideal world, a gambling industry regulating body with teeth could censure people running information sites who don't worry about the morality of an issue in their pursuit of advertising revenue.

That's clearly the only thing that will work in my iew. It doesn't look as if the player can rely on the biggest directory on the 'net to discipline itself here.
