I'm surprised to see you write this. The 5x bonuses at Hollywood represent a 140% rakeback equivalent which will all be deducted from Bonuswhore.com's MGR (since these bonuses were for players signed up through BW's affiliate code). This means that bonuswhores will have the TOTAL amount of bonuses subtracted from this month's TOTAL MGR, which will almost certainly leave them in negative numbers this month because everyone who used these codes came from BW affiliate code. To put it more clearly, for every $100 in bonus cleared at 5x from these codes, $140 will be subtracted from the MGR total of bw.com this month. Do you really expect that people from this site will play once they are no longer working on a bonus in order to make up for the shortfall?
When I asked Gonzo about this in the morning, he wasn't even sure that the negative MGR won't be carried over to next month - if it does, bonuswhores.com will suffer the consequence of the abuse of these bonuses into next month and potentially beyond.
I'm not pronouncing any judgement against those who took advantage of multiple codes, but rather your statement that "They wouldn't offer a bonus, let alone multiple times, if it was going to cost them money in the long run." You're right, it probably isn't going to cost Hollywood Poker that much, but bonuswhores.com can kiss any affiliate payment for June goodbye (and maybe July as well).
