That's a useful "justification" letter for a forseen unpopular move IMO. But as with all good justifications there's a lot of truth in it. We all know this is a competitive business where established companies and the lower echelons alike need to keep a ery close eye on the numbers.

And many operators are waking up at last to the dangers inherent in the crazier bonus offerings and are looking at alternatives.

On the plus side the research shows increases in gamblers and revenues, and the (hopeful) advent of the big, well regulated Vegas names will surely have a positive impact.

There ARE a lot of sites out there, but many of them are so deficient in so many areas that they are unlikely to survive. The Great Casino Shakeout is in my iew gathering momentum.
