My hubby and I have stayed at Harrah's for the last 3 years in a row. (Family reunion there each summer) We had, at first, the Gold Card, then were moved up (this year) to the Platinum card. We stay 4 nights each time. Room rate $169.00 Fri/Sat-$90.00 Sun thru Thurs. At check out we are given the credits towards our room. Hubby plays mostly tables, hands card over to pit guy, he notes number and hands it back. I play VP and slots. Mostly .25 ideo poker and occassionally bar VP for 1.00. We have never paid more then $20.00 at check out for the room and all meals were always paid for by Casino with "food credit" chits. Harvey's, from what I understand from other relatives, has the same deal. Within a month after returning from trip we always get a Comp room letter for maybe two months from then sometimes later. We turn these comps over to the kids who (Casino never said no to them) stay there during the wintertime for snow boarding trips. They don't even gamble. Maybe you should try these guys out instead of Sahara.
