No laughs. The bashers weren't funny at all.
Mr. Cohen broke the law--took bets over state (and international) lines. He's an American citizen and he returned to American soil to answer to the charges. This is to his credit, but it doesn't make him innocent. The law may be archaic, but it is specific, and it is still enforced.
