Topic: Self-banning oneself from a casino Forum: Winner Online

Here's an interesting - kind of sad - story about a mother's attempt to ban herself at a number of local casinos.

Here is an idea for the OPA to work on - getting their member casinos to allow self-banning.

Although it is a bit useless when there are probably more than a thousand casinos online at this moment, someone's got to take the first step. I know that New Jersey has a policy to allow self-banning in place, and I suspect Nevada will consider something similar if there isn't already something in place.

But as far as I know, there is no such thing online (though when I asked Golden Palace to ban me in protest against their actions, they duly did so - probably a good thing for both sides).

-->edit - self-banning oneself? Banning ones' self might have been a bit less redundant... I gotta get some sleep!
