I promised to respond to Mary's statements some time ago, so here I am. Let me first explain how my experience with the Golden Palace started: In Sommer 2000, when I was quite new to online gambling I received a GP promo through Gambling.com requiring a deposit. While downloading the software I checked with the Internet Gaming Commission. Reading their warning about closed accounts and seized funds I immediately uninstalled the software. In October I received another offer, this time $50 FREE-NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED!!! Since I had become an OPA member a few days before I was aware of their statements. But: "What can I lose by playing with free money without any deposit of my own? Why shouldn't I try it?" I played BJ turning the $50 into $100. The withdrawal did work without any problems. Then they started sending me deposit promotions. First I thought that's the typical way a proper shark would work. Nevertheless I decided to give them another try. Again I won and got paid-it was as simple as that. Then I referred six friends who were willing to test Golden Palace. The result: ALL WERE PAID WITHOUT HASSLE!!! Today I just received a check for my Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot winnings.
Of course I cannot judge what Jack Stroll, Mark Francis & Co. did with sweepstakes in Canada and the disputes they had/have with people they consider promotion abusers or organizations going against them. I have to admit that I am just a player. I am neither a player's advocate nor the Quebec Superior Court.
I am fully aware some casinos have terms and conditions allowing them to do whatever they want with any balance in the player's account at their own discretion as soon as he/she claims any bonus. Nevertheless I prefer playing at a casino offering good promotions even with strict audits.
Golden Palace and its affiliates have played a fair game with me and my friends till now. They have offered the best promotions in the business as well as fair software and excellent customer service. They have paid us promptly. So why should I complain?
Mary says that there are other casinos with equally fine terms and service. I agree to that completely. But show me just a single one that ever offered a 200% bonus on purchases up to $250 !!! with a wagering requirement of seven times bonus and deposit except Golden Palace.
Finally Mary comments on "their proprietary software": The same software is used by OPA approved Geisha Lounge Casino and after playing thousands of hands I think I am in the position to confirm that it is perfectly fair and random.
Once again I don't get paid for creating traffic and I am not a GP employee. My postings just reflect my personal experience and opinion. I do not care if anybody will play at GP. Is GP a wolf in sheep's clothing? Each player has to decide that for him/herself. But I know my decision.
