This time the discussion got ery interesting due to the fact that Wilhelm and Grantt took the courage to present a different point of iew on Golden Palace than the one usually found on this board.
In fact I have been playing at GP and three affiliates regularly for more than six month now, including lots of promotions. I gained a net win of several thousand dollars. The first withdrawals always took some time due to their security review but afterwards payouts were much faster than at most other online casinos I am playing at. Their customer service agents are ery friendly and competend, the software is absolutely fair. So why should I NOT play there? My personal experience was a VERY PLEASANT one.
I do not dare to judge anyone else's complaint but I think there is an important thing everyone gambling online should be aware of:
Casinos are in the business to make money. They are part of the entertainment industry, they are no charities. When they offer bonusses as big as the ones from Golden Palace they give the clever player a great advantage. They do that because they expect this to inspire people to risk some of their own money. If you show them clearly that you have no intention of risking any of your money, e.g. you fulfill a wagering requirement of $550 by playing 550 hands at $1 each (example taken from an authentic bonus hustler's post) you should not be surprised about locked accounts and being added to blacklists. In cases like this it will probably not help to claim that you did bet the required amount since a lot of casinos (including GP) have terms and conditions in power reserving the right to reclaim any bonus and winnings thereof at their sole discretion. This does not mean that you cannot use promotions to win, it just means that you have to accept the risk of losing your own money. But isn't gambling about "no risk, no fun"?
Of course there are sites less strict on the web. But as mentioned by Wilhelm there bonusses are usually quite low in order to be unattractive to bonus abusers. I personally prefer to take some risk for the best promotions on the internet.
