Vegascasinomaster is right when he says basic strategy won't work online. You will not win in the long run using basic in just about any casino, online or land based. All basic will do is cut the house edge to the minimum without using any other methods that might give the played an advantage. He is also right that all the books on gambling were written for land based casinos and not online. He says the profit online is much higher than in land based casinos because there is a slight difference in the way the games are played due to an RNG being used to mimick the dealer online. This is where he screws up. If there is a difference between an RGN and a live dealer as far as using basic goes, then basic should work better online as basic was developed on computers using RNGs, not by live dealers dealing hands.
