Oh,no. RTG hasn't picked up these guys as a licensee, have they? From a Sting article:
"Aside from Horizon Sports, today's worst example of stealing the name of a good operator would have to be PYRAMID SPORTSBOOK. The only difference between the "good" and the "Bad" Pyramid is the fact that one is .com and the other is .net. http://www.pyramidsportsbook.com are the "good" guys who appear here at the Prescription. Several operators, players, and even Yours Truly wrongly believed the Pyramid Sportsbook appearing at the Prescription site was indeed the "bad" sportsbook which merged with TNT. According to the "good" Pyramid's owner: "This is KILLING my business."
It ain't killing the "bad" Pyramid's business. Hundreds of people have complained about India-born Tej's non-paying establishment. A number of sportsbooks have gone as far as to suggest they issue a formal complaint against eSports, who provide software for dozens of books, including TNT/Pyramid.net. According to one furious operator out of Costa Rica, "These guys are giving us a bad name and eSports is contributing by continuing to supply this book with their software AND to Lucky's as well."
Another sportsbook operator who wished to remain anonymous stated that "The days of a software company claiming "nonresponsibility" for one of their licensee's activities and failure to NOT pay clients are long over!"
We spoke to a number of operators who are absolutely disgusted over events involving TNT Sports/Pyramid.net which are not only harming the business of Pyramid.com but are also starting to affect Costa Rica sportsbooks and the industry as a whole.
Employees of TNT are awaiting payment as they have not gotten paid for the last three weeks now, that includes former ABC Island employee and supposed Director of Operations, Warner the Crazy Eyed Jamaican, who last we heard had his head down as he approached the automobile we would expect to be repossessed in the next few weeks since he's now beginning to realize the consequences of selling out to the Devil. GREED does NOT pay in this industry....and poor Warner will have to learn the hard way (oops..we mean, STOMPER). "
