Actually, I think we do guys. Jetset doesn't have a website that advertises any casinos, but he does consulting work. Casino Gazette is a portal. Casinomeister is a portal. I have no portal and do no paid work in this industry, yet.
We did try to run an OPA that did not get significant income from sales of advertising to casinos, but from player memberships. That limited things.
We've asked for players to olunteer to be on the OPA Executive Committee throughout the existence of the OPA.
Some problems emerged:
*To have credibility, the OPA President needs to use his/her legal name. Players weren't willing to do that.
*For players, this is a hobby. They have day jobs. They don't have the time for this job.
*Some of the players who would have been good for this have started portals!
The OPA is not claiming to replace regulatory agencies, and not concealing any portal relationships. We aren't regulated, licensed, credentialed, anointed, knighted, invested, or imbued with police powers. We're trying to set it up with both portal and player input.
