Hi Spear,
Going back to an earlier thread, I mentioned that the concept had been tested and did increase conversions considerably. (The operator who I spoke to rated it a 3.5 on a scale of 5 as far as being effective.)
Whether or not the player alues would double would only be known if it was more than just a "1 off" promotion. I think (since some sites already have much higher alues than others) it is possible. Especially if all other player concerns were met. The “MoneyBack” would just be an added bonus.
As far as the percentage paid to webmasters I, again, think it boils down to what the casino can generate for the webmaster on the traffic the webmaster sends. One casino might offer a bigger percentage, but if they don't convert or keep players, it has little alue.
In other words, I will take 15% of 10K net per month, over 25% of 1K net any day.
Larger percentages are only relevant when all things are equal. Our experience has shown that there are HUGE differences between conversions and retention from site to site.
Also, don’t forget that the casino could pay (if necessary) a higher percentage by simply paying after “Money Back” had been calculated. If you think about it, that would be a more fair way to do it anyway. So if a player dropped $4,000 and the casino gave him back $1,000, the webmaster would be paid on the remaining $3,000 (not the original drop.)
…this would allow for a larger “percentage” number. Many sites do this already. They claim to pay 50%, but it is 50% of what is left after they pay out ALL their costs.
In the end (from a business stand point) it boils down to this for a webmaster:
You have two comparably rated casinos.
You have 1000 isitors that you send to each of them.
Casino 1 converts 1% and has an average player alue of $400.
Casino 2 converts 5% and has an average player alue of $700.
Casino 2 can pay you half as much and still earn more for that position on your site.
The greater conversions are indicative of greater player interest, as are the greater player alues, so it makes a lot of sense to give Casino 2 the better positions.
These numbers may seem “out of line” but they are not. Some sites just don’t convert or keep players ery well. (Even though they are nice sites, with great software, good support, etc.) The numbers quoted above are real numbers that we have seen with our own eyes.
Anyway, this has gone on TOO LONG! Until the backing is there for the project, it’s not going to happen…not on our URL anyway!

“If you combined the "Moneyback" idea with (I think it was Jerry Garner's idea) of the *player* customizable casino interface, you'd have an exceptionally strong package with a lot of player pull. Players could change their casino when they got tired of the skin; the casino operator could make available libraries of motifs; much as Windows is customizable now.”
Thank you for bringing that up Mary. I thought Jerry’s idea for the customizable casino interface was awesome! It would require so little from a coding standpoint (and yet be so COOL) I can hardly believe it hasn’t been done! …and thanks for the ote on MBC!
