Yes - it was the standard email they seem to have sent to all enquirers from Jay in CS. Didn't really take me any further.

It was superceded by their now-you-see-it-now-you-don't action on their site. Last time I looked (just before recording my current webcast show last night) they were up again but without the notice regarding "many unlucky happenings" - in fact a casual isitor would have been hard-pressed to find any indication of a major privacy disaster.
