Caruso writes: If any international (non US) user can tell me 1) that it is possible to fund a Paypal account (ie. deposit maony and leave it there, for the purposes of recycling it around casinos and avoiding the exchange rate whammy) and 2) how the hell you do it, I'd be in your debt. To date I've had to make do with Firepay and NETeller"
No one would answer my many queries online re this subject, so I hope I've understood your question correctly.
I am non-US resident; funded Paypal using credit card then deposited into most casinos using that. When winning, deposit would be credited back there, but now usually profit as well...GP and affiliates, Prestige and some other Boss Media/Gamblers Lobby/Good as Gold, etc etc take 1 - l4 days now to credit winnings into Paypal instead of the weeks it used to take by mail. So I am constantly using the same money to redeposit elsewhere.
If funding Paypal by credit card, after you have filled in registration, they debit a coupla $$$s giving a code number which appears on your statement. You enter that code when alidating/certifying your account; then they credit that back to your Paypal so u r not out of pocket.
Instead of waiting a month for your statement, ask bank for a printout a few days later to see the code - but you may have internet access to your card statement.
Then for a few months last year, I seem to recall I couldn't use my Paypal for much as they were changing the regime.
After that Paypal gave non-US members the option of attaching local bank accounts (check or savings) to their Paypal accounts in order to be able to send/receive cash again; and ever since then it has been heaven! Just go to your account or profile or whatever (cant remember): find question re whether you want to add bank account, click on it and it prompts you with explicit instructions. They take a few days to check out your details after that. I've never tried repatriating funds directly to my local bank account yet, but it should be straightforward.
IMO it's the best thing since sliced bread (for online gamblers)!
We (family members) send instant cash to each other as and when the need, arises to maintain funds in $US currency. Many casinos will pay winnings into Paypal now within 1 - 14 days so can build up a nestegg of $$US that way. A UK buddy asks me to refer him to casinos where I like the blackjack, and when I do OK on the referral bonus, I always paypal him some (tho he doesn't want it) so that he can enjoy my good fortune too! He's lost only two times ever in 9 months of gambling, unlike me who tends to win/lose 50% of time!
At one point I built it up to $2000US, then lost it in big blowout!
