KX's figures are rather ague; 5 sessions, 100 - 250 hands; assume (say) 100, 140, 180, 220, 250 hands per session; assume an "average" SD loss of 2 (he says "ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 SDs") - we'd be looking at 890 hands, with a 143 unit loss, which would equate to about a 14% loss on total action (he'd have wagered about 1000 units in all), which would equate to about 4.5 SDs; bereft of any more accurate figures that seems a reasonable stab. One would assume perfect single deck ENHC BS.
I don't care how small the sample is - if those "guessed" figures are accurate, the alarm bell should be rung. It might be interesting to see the actual figures - I wonder if he kept the Playcheck records?
All of which is theorectically ery interesting, and totally pointless. Anyway, that's my "guesswork" for the evening over.
BTW, Syd - thank you for the innacurate compliment!
