Topic: Gambling Banned in Hong Kong..Dr Ho Forum: Winner Online

The article is ague. The legislation is surely a bit more specific than this, but it appears to have been interpreted liberally to say the least.

An editorial in the same paper says that
Quote:

Mind-boggling figures that have forced the government to act. Yesterday's decision to bring in legislation banning betting on football is the net result. As a lesson in futility, it rivals Senegal's dreams of actually winning the World Cup. Badly thought out, the new regulations will be nearly impossible to enforce and appear nothing more than a knee-jerk reaction to a problem that has been around for more than 30 years.

and this is basically what I am counting on - ban only applies to football, and legislation has more holes than swiss cheese.
