Please come on!
We all heard those stories. I never said there was no way of beating the casinos. Most of them are based on cheating but the few others actually working will not be found in any books. Using the argument that many books covers the subject is a ery bad. On the contrary this indicate or even prove the opposite.
In theory its ery well known that a single deck BJ can be beaten ery easily. The first pioneers in this business are said to made fortunes on it and I truly believe that. Today there is not a single pitboss or even a croupier not aware of this possibility. To ever make any profit of any kind you must first find a casino dealing a single deck BJ and be lucky enough meeting a croupier at her first day at work which of a coincidence is supervised by a totally retarded pitboss and be lucky enough that some other chef wont be looking for a second in your direction. On top of this that they wont be using a reshuffle of the deck as standard procedure when the player raises his bet from lowest to highest limit. Normally a pitboss will spot a counter at his first raise and order a reshuffle. The gambler will complain a bit and then take back his bet and will get a clear message from the supervisor to take his business somewhere else. This happens every day in Vegas. New hill Billies are coming in every day dreaming of striking big on the information found in $5 books. Any minimum salary work would give a more reliable income compared to card counting on BJ.
The Original Mary
You must be joking. There is no reason to look down on your fellow man. Saying that telling the truth is stupid and insinuating that “real players” actually are totally unaware of how business work, is just so ignorant. I think the topics debated are ery interesting and if I was alone this tread would already be dead. If you referred to me, I can not see how I was insulting anyone. I would also like point out that I am foremost a gambler and the information that I provide was meant to be useful to like-minded. You are also ery wrong in what you believe the casinos are afraid of. I know that most regular writers are used to a certain climate on this board and maybe it feels like somebody is trespassing your domains when changing the subject of discussion. Affiliates trying to decease as “real players” are ery easy to look through and once again the gamblers mind was underestimated.
