Really doesn't make much difference whether the machine is in an arcade or in a casino - for us Americans an arcade is still not a ideo arcade, but a slot machine arcade

Don't know if there is a limit there but I have seen arcades with more than 50 machines. In a casino, they're limited to no more than six - go figure. But they are the same machines - well, actually, the ones in the casino are usually high-end machines starting at a pound or higher a spin. The ones in the arcades start from a nickel a spin and usually don't exceed 50p a spin - same as in the bars (limited to two machines if I'm not mistaken).

Frankly, it was kind of a shock - but entertaining too as skill stops and nudges came into play. Was about 200 pounds in the hole before someone pointed out the signs that a machine was about to unload. Briefly tried the VP and decided quickly that was NOT what I wanted to play.
