Well...

First of, Level 2 and Level 3 - and their descriptions - are ague. There is no definition - in the report, that is - of what "problematic" means.

Secondly, 31 people is a tiny sample - miniscule, whatever you choose to call it - so much so that it can only purport to represent a ery small minority of people in the area(s) surrounding the University of Connecticut looking for FREE dental care. The only thing I can make out from this is that a great number of the people in this study were either:

a. Poor or low-income, perhaps students
b. Willing to risk having their teeth pulled by dental students.
c. Penny-pinchers.

Now I don't know about you, but I'm not letting ANY student dentist work on my teeth... and I can't see a penny-pincher being a compulsive or problematic gambler.

So I'd assume (watch out, dangerous word) that the study really covers a lot of low-income or poor people - or students - and from that group I will agree that there will be a higher number of problematic or addicted gamblers. When I was a student and had little extra money, I didn't hesitate to gamble, in the hopes that I would win some extra spending money.

Summary: the tiny sample in this study is not representative of a normal populace. What does bear looking into, however, is how to prevent those who cannot afford to gamble from actually being able to sign up online.

That, I'm afraid, will be extremely difficult.
