Major software suppliers "set the game rules" or "fix the odds"?
I think you are misinterpreting the wording. I know it says "customisable odds" and that does sound weird (they should have worded it differently) but I think they are talking about game rules.
I have seen one software provider's backend a couple of years ago...not a ery popular one...and they let you choose between the 1-8 decks. They also let you shuffle after each hand or X% of the way through the deck to avoid card counting.
As long as these rules are clearly stated on the site and the software is set to the same rules I don't see a problem.
Now if they are doing something different from what they are stating or switching on the fly then I think that is a real problem.
