Here's the NetRatings-Nielsen stats I mentioned earlier:
According to Nielsen//NetRatings, gambling sites on the Internet are not nearly as popular as no-stakes gaming and free sweepstakes sites. In fact, ZDNet reports that none of the top-rated gambling sites for July made it into the million-visitor club. According to Neilsen//NetRatings, the most popular gambling site in July was VirtualVegas.com with 949,659 unique isitors. However, VirtualVegas.com is not a true gambling site since players compete for prizes by playing no-stakes games.
