Everyone here has seen "shared databases" used ad nauseum as an excuse for locking out players and confiscating winnings and bonuses at the more sub-standard operations.
So a statement that RN and GR are using a "cross casinos" database begs a number of questions regarding privacy and fairness:
1) What information about the player is submitted to the database and by whom?
2) What guarantee is there that the casino is not just using the database to hammer a dissident client when there is actually no justification for "blacklisting" him or her?
3) Are players inserted into this database being informed that they are being prejudiced at other establishments and why?
4) If the answer to (3) is "yes" do they have a right of appeal if they feel that the database entry is unfair?
Noone has a problem with casinos taking measures to protect themselves, but it's important that it be done in a fair and open manner to avoid abuse.
