Hey Guys,
This is not SUREFIRE's fault. It is Visa and MasterCard's fault. The more you use your Visa and MasterCard the more you are putting money in the hands of the people that are trying to prohibit you from gambling online.
Get used to this. There is always going to be a constant shuffle in payment methods.
There are two major factors that come to mind:
1. The fact is that "the powers that be" don't want you to gamble online. There is a lot of pressure on cc companies and banks to not accept gambling wagers for "moral" reasons.
And the bigger issue...
2. The chargebacks and fraud by casinos and players is also a huge problem that Visa, MasterCard and the Banks just don't want to deal with. I personally believe that if chargebacks and fraud weren't so bad the cc companies would overlook the "moral" issue.
The fact is that NO BODY can stop you from using your money the way you want to use it. Direct funding (via your bank account or other method other than credit card) of a "casino friendly" payment methods is the only long term solution.
The only problem with this is that there is no industry standard.
The payment methods like PayPal, Neteller and FirePay are all good but are not widely know about by new players.
How many of you made your first casino purchase with a Visa or MC? I bet most of you. That is why casinos haven't totally dumped CC's to this point. If everyone would use PayPal then every casino would offer it and would stop offering payment ia CC.
