A lot of people are uncomfortable with Playtech. I went to Playtech's website, and found no claims that the software is random and fair.
In fact, if I read between the lines, I get the strong impression each casino can set the odds for their games as they please.
IMO Playtech needs to clear up this issue. The software really isn’t bad from a technology standpoint, but I simply don’t trust it. And trust counts for a lot in this business.
If I play Playtech’s BJ in my usual method (use a progression ranging from $10 to $35 a hand), I get killed, even with a bonus. If I flat bet $5 along with a bonus and bet the min wagering requirements only, I can do OK. However, I really don’t like to play that way, but it seems that’s what you have to do to win with this software.
It’s unfortunate, but this industry seems to be going backwards, rather than forwards.
