I think the origin of the crime is in the jurisdiction that it originates from. At least that is what the US has to say. They think that if you are gambling from YOUR computer in the US then the gambling takes place in the US...I would think same would be true in this case.

"It's funny if the online casinos wish to take advantage of prosecuting people under US law for DOS attacks. They would have to present themselves, at least as a legal entity, to the US courts, while dodging the numerous lawsuits US attorneys have been trying to serve against them for several years. How do you think they would do that?"

Most online casinos are legal entities in the country that they are licensed. I don't think that all online casinos have been served numerous lawsuits.
