DOS attacks are a ery underhanded way to get a website offline. I much prefer the upfront approach to these issues.

As for the illegality, they are illegal in the US. But online casinos do not operate in the USA. They are all offshore...somewhere.

It's funny if the online casinos wish to take advantage of prosecuting people under US law for DOS attacks. They would have to present themselves, at least as a legal entity, to the US courts, while dodging the numerous lawsuits US attorneys have been trying to serve against them for several years. How do you think they would do that?
