This really is not the time to be fighting among ourselves folks. The issue is whether Goodfellows is screwing the players around and what evidence can be assembled to support a cohesive action.

This message board has largely (note I said "largely") moved on from the old flaming and intimidatory style of exchanges and the same has happened in the negotiating field. I think that is a positive move and the results tend to support that, but when feelings are running high it is perhaps understandable that folks often like to see a lot of threats, pejorative statements and yelling going on upfront. Some of that stuff can be entertaining too - provided you're not at the center of it!

But that sort of stuff doesn't really match a reasoned debate on unassailable facts backed by the ability and will to exert pressure.

Ted says that "speak softly but carry a big stick" works and I agree with him (and btw the OPA was ery active on all the historical incidents nominated above). The OPA has those big sticks and is prepared to use them - but only at the right time in the process and never as a mere threat - only a fact.

So if you have a complaint about Goodfellows, submit it to OPA so that the growing "class action" is given the added clout of factual experiences.

If you prefer to act individually then that is of course your prerogative.
