I would like to take this opportunity to provide the OPA with a News Release that will be appearing on our casino website on Tuesday.
AUDIT PROCESS CONCLUDED!
Good Fellows Casino is ery pleased to announce that the auditing process on player accounts opened prior to March 12, 2002 has been concluded.
As a result of severe system irregularities and abuse of promotions, management was forced to initiate an audit of all player accounts. GoodFellows expresses its regret for the inconvenience caused by the audit. We wish that all our players understand that the purpose of the audit was not to find players that would not be paid, but rather to identify the causes that allowed the promotions abuse to be perpretrated.
GOODFELLOWS CASINO IS NOW RETURNING TO NORMAL CASINO OPERATIONS AND THEREFORE ALL CASH-INS WILL BE PROCESSED IMMEDIATELY.
Unfortunately in order to properly conduct this audit, GoodFellows Casino felt it necessary to issue a stop payment on a portion of checks issued before March 12, 2002.
GOODFELLOWS CASINO WILL CREDIT ALL PLAYER ACCOUNTS, AFFECTED BY THIS STOP PAYMENT, ANY SERVICE CHARGES THEY HAVE INCURRED AT THEIR RESPECTIVE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION.
Please accept GoodFellows Casino's most sincere apologies and know that GoodFellows Casino will honor our obligations to all of our players.
OPA: GoodFellows Casino would like to tyhank the Online Players' Association (OPA) for their comments and general concern for our players. The unbiased comments and suggestions made by the OPA have assisted us in formulating our response to several concerns raised by our players.
A note on promotions abuse: Although no action is being taken on any player account, GoodFellows Casino will be closely monitoring identified player accounts for future activity and that future abuse of promotions will not be tolerated.
