You guys are missing the point here. I'm not discussing his *playing* at another casino - I'm discussing his accepting free money from another casino, without disclosing that he was a competing casino's employee.

I dare say that if a Coke employee were to accept free Pepsi from PepsiCo, Coke's eyebrows would be raised, and Pepsi might feel a little deceived in their attempts to gain a new customer.

In reputable industries, employees of companies are not allowed to accept gifts or freebies from competitors.
