Unfortunately none of is the robot we are playing against and we constantly have to keep our emotions under control. I'm as guilty as the next guy losing control once in a while. Almost without exception, when I lose, it's because I lost a little control. That's probably why over time I tend to try not to out-guess whether the table is hot cold or in between. It wears me out, emotionally. Sounds like a reasonable idea to limit your neg progs to 4 hands or so. Easier said than done, I know.
I always distill my sessions down to "what if I had flat bet $1 every hand" (done automatically actually) just to know how many units I would have won/lost flat-betting $X.
It gives me a way to gauge how well I guessed on larger bets. I wonder what your ending balance would have been in these 424 hands if you pretend you had bet $1 or $4/hand. Just curious - understand it might be a little work to figure it out so if you don't feel like it, that's OK.
10% of the pot is a pretty big bet alright. Heck to me 3% of my balance is a pretty big bet. As I've said before I don't even like to gamble. What you do is gambling in the true sense of the word. Casinos love you, they hate me.
Still think your style of play would work best at MG with the 0.1% HA.
