I have not seen any email like the OP received with that information AT ALL. This is a fairly significant change, and the only reason I know about is because I hang out on message boards like this. They have a splash screen talking about the new "single wallet", but the page it brings you to just gives you the standard "look how cool this is!" without any warning that the old accounts are going to get cut off.
I mean, I'm going to be disappointed when they decide to stop giving out bonuses on the old eCash accounts, as I obviously (as an American) am unable to open a new single wallet account. But only partially, as I've also been stuck maintaining a $300 - $500 balance at both of these sites (and Littlewoods) all the time to play off the bonus each month, as the cost of moving money in and out of these accounts through Neteller is too high to eat all the time. |
