Jerry, one of the facts that has emerged is that players who were prejudiced by TGC in this matter tested this negative database allegation by signing up and playing at other casinos in the TGC group.

They were accepted, giving the lie to TGC allegations that a TGC group negative database had been used.

Others were not frequent enough gamblers to be classified as abusers or anything else.

TGC have been less than open in their communications to date, and that is exacerbating this already ery serious situation.

They have taken extreme action against the accused players and denied their bonuses, but they do not seem prepared (or maybe even capable) of justifying it in a fair and upfront way. TGC owes that to the players affected, and the now outraged player community as a whole if they are smart even at this late stage.

As to the "latest" negative database concepts now being deployed, unless these incorporate a facility to block BEFORE wagering, a notification process and an appeals system they are not really improving the situation from a player perspective imo.
