Many casinos offer
loss insurance.
This type of bonus will distort
the basic strategy at the status quo
point because the payoffs
have a kink there
and the formula for EV changes.
To take an extreme case,
if 100% of your losses
are reimbursed, then your optimal strategy
will be obviously different
from the standard basic strategy.
In particular, this will effect
splits and doubles (you will do
both more often).
Has anybody done any research on that?
