AngelCiti Donates to US Non-Profit Organization
Pembroke Pines, FL-- (PR Newswire)—July 11th, 2003
AngelCiti Entertainment’s (OTCBB: AGLC) wholly owned
subsidiary Worldwide Management announced that it is
donating through SharkCasino.com an undisclosed amount
to support The Pelagic Shark Research Foundation a
non-profit organization located in Santa Cruz,
California. The donations will be used to pay for
research and marine equipment and supplies for the
Foundation.
SharkCasino is launching a Video Poker Tournament
where proceeds will go to the Shark Foundation.
Foundation CEO Executive Director Sean Van Sommeran
states, “The Foundation members and staff are elated
that Angelciti Entertainment came to us offering the
donations, and they are taking care of all the details
for the tournament and marketing. The Pelagic Shark
Foundation will be marketing the tournament to
members. The Foundation is featured on the Discovery
Channel’s “SharkWeek” this August for the next episode
of PSRF adventures; August 10-17th 2003, National
Geographic, Animal Planet and BBC Television.
The successful launch of SharkCasino has enabled the
online casino to branch out in to new areas and do
something for the community and create awareness for
the decreasing world Shark Population. Angelciti
Entertainment president George Gutierrez states, “We
dedicated a Video Poker tournament to the Foundation,
because we felt a tournament would gain maximum
exposure and increase the dollars we can donate. We
chose the PSRF because they are non-profit and are
committed to preserving the Shark population. We want
to help address the issue that shark populations have
been declining rapidly for many years under heavy
fishing pressure. It’s our way of doing something, and
the best way is to donate the much needed money to
support the Foundation”.
SharkCasino is the first online casino to designate a
tournament to a specific no-profit organization and
will continue to do so in the coming years.
