I think this incident is slightly blown out of proportion!

John Abbott didn't seem to want to get involved when Monte Cristo Casino didn't pay me. I had paid $400 in his auction for a $1000 casino account four years ago. They carried on advertising the casino after they didn't pay me over $500 in winnings. I resolved it months later with the casino and the 'anteup' site (with no help from John Abbott) but I still don't understand what really happened or why John didn't want to help. He wrote: 'I'll enter into no further correspondence on this matter'. He thought a refund of the deposit was good enough but that is a no-lose situation for the casino.

The casino finally paid me months later after the 'anteup' site got involved and mediated with me and the casino. The casino was under the impression I asked John for a refund of my deposit, while John originally told me the casino had told him I hadn't complied with the rules of the promotion both of which were untrue! The casino was saying they didn't receive the money from John so couldn't pay me. John Abbott seemed to just refund my deposit after I won!
